Or go to a wetsuit manufacturer and ask them to make you a neoprene straightjacket? Prolly be expensive though, unless you buy a sheet of neoprene and glue/sew one yourself?

Well done Gordon for some great shoots so far. Some suggestions for further ideas to try.

1. Shots of guys undressing out of the wet wetsuit down to speedos

2. Guys being cuffed/ cuffing themselves hmm is it just me that likes the idea of guys restraining themselves for another guy to see. oh well

3. The pics of Jon in some prisoner cuffs would be nice if they where position so his hands where cuffed behind, maybe having him laying about cuffed like that

4. Use the ankle cuffs to cuff the guys arms round like Jon did, but then do the wetsuit over the arms making like a sleep sack out of the wetsuit.

5. Guys generally messing about in the water having a laugh.

6. Hmm maybe the guys should wear neoprene hoods and who knows maybe be gagged somehow.

Well thats a few ideas for now lol

Hope some of them can be accomodated somehow into the site.

Cheers,

Robert

I've already promised Gordon that I will some some shots when the weather warms up a bit. I'll try and get him in some of my lycra gear too

Hmm another idea for you, how about a guy strips out of his normal street clothes to reveal hes wearing a wetsuit on them which he then strips off to be left standing in a speedo or some lycra cycle shorts.

Modelling

Post by wetsuitmale » Wed Jan 05, 2005 8:11 pm

Here are a few of my ideas:

1, An option where members can post their own pictures.
2, models use their own wetsuits.
3, models could have a pretend "fight" in the water making the pictures more enjoyable to watch.
4, Hoods, gloves, flippers, goggles and snorkels.
5, More full wetsuits that look like surfer suits, e.g: colours and textures.
6, Video clips.
7, Group pictures, more than two models at a time.
8, more of you Gordon.
9, more of the other models, alex etc.
10, models should get all of the way under the water, no matter how cold.

Hope this has given some ideas!!!

Great ideas! Some comments on the ones I can comment on.

I'll be getting one soon, I was thinking of getting an Orca like Gordon's but perhaps I'll look for a colourful one in the thinner smoothskin fabric. I am not a massive fan of the standard nylon wetsuits.

I dive and have all this stuff...

I think Gordon has based the site is generally centred around photographs because video is a different audience to cater for.

Due to the location this is probably tricky, but maybe Gordon can find a location which is deep enough in the summer. There is no way I would swim in a photoshoot in the winter!

great website, keep up the good work :)
I'd like to see pictures in deeper water, possibly even rolling surf ?

That said I was out surfing last weekend, and yes, it was cold

I do like the deeper water idea. Do you any any idea how hard it is to find water, where you don't get lots and lots of people out walking there dogs etc. I stay in the middle of nowhere and even find the place that I use to take the photos, was hard work.

I am hoping to do some beach ones later in the year.

Hi Gordon, nice idea this Forum.
Here my Idea: What do you think of a shoot with wetsuits and gasmask? I think this is a good combination. Perhaps you can first make pictures without the mask and then the boys put them on. What do you think about it?

I am not 100% sure about gasmask's and wetsuits being using togther. But of course I don't mind trying out new things. So we will see what happens.

in my experience if your wetsuit has been in the sea a few times, you'll need the gas mask

I think wearing a wetsuit and a gasmask is a surfers against sewage thing, there is probably some pics on their website

I am sure the wetsuit would be OK, if I give it a good wash after being in the sea. But I much say that your post did give me a great laugh! So thanks :P
