Wetsuit colour

Most suits these days tend to be just black, or black with some coloured panels or printed graphics. But go back a decade or two and you'll find suits with brightly coloured panels (usually the shoulder and legs). Like the older Billabong SGX, Ripcurl Ebomb or Oneill Hammer. Go back further and some of the original wetsuits were completely fluro! Yes, bright 70s red, green, blue or yellow!

While I like plain black wetsuits (they look best when wet), I've had a few coloured ones in the past that were a nice change once in a while (and not so boring). Blue or red is nice, but yellow can be too noticeable. I've yet to try on a full colour suit (like the blue Aquasphere Phantom or Orca Free) but that could be interesting! Except maybe people will stare in public. Yep, I had a guy compliment my Oneill Hammer suit with blue shoulders.

How do you like your suits coloured?

My favourite suit is mainly black, but with bright blue and white panels on the legs and arms. In my opinion just a few colours makes them a lot nicer and attractive to see.

Me too! Sometimes plain black is the safest colour choice.
